While skydiving in Belgrade, Serbia, a man attempted to play Pokemon Go but was unsuccessful. The skydiver claimed he had a strong GPS and cell network signal while he was 2,000 feet above the ground. He had performed the leap from a height of 5,000 feet. He attempted to play the game up to a height of 500 feet, but it was unresponsive. He expressed his hope that the glitch will be fixed in the upcoming update so that skydivers may also play the game in the air. The makers of the game, Niantic, have advised players not to play Pokemon while driving, but they have not yet issued a similar warning for skydiving.
