More than 40% of respondents indicated they would forgo dating for a year, and 7% said they would cheerfully quit their jobs to see their nation win the competition. And 4% of respondents claimed they would be willing to donate a body part. 20,000 persons who reside in North America but are from nations with teams competing in this year's World Cup in South Africa participated in the study.
